To be eligible for our Adelaide pet policies, you must live within the Adelaide area. Our eligibility criteria also require pets to be at least 6 weeks old before they can be insured. If you’re joining us with a young puppy or kitten that’s under 1 year old, you get two whole months of free cover. And for pooches and felines aged over 1 year, you get the first month free.
For pet parents choosing our Accident Plan, you get instant cover from day one. For those after our Classic and Deluxe Plans, wait periods typically range between 21 and 180 days. If you’re switching from another provider, we’ll waive our waiting period on the basis that you held a policy with uninterrupted cover for 1 year or longer, so you can get instant cover.
