When summer hits and the temperature heats up, we as humans start wearing shorts, put our flip-flops on, and usually get a haircut too! For dogs it’s different, some shed their winter coats, but for others they don’t shed at all.
We know that thick fur and hot temperatures don’t mix, so its up to you, their loving fur-parent to help them feel cool in summer. Not all owners have the experience, know how, tools, or sometimes physical ability to groom their dogs properly with dog clippers. This is where choosing the right groomer comes in. You should first ask your friends and fellow dog owners about who they use and trust to groom their pups. Alternatively, you can also ask your local vet, dog trainer, boarding kennel, dog sitter or a local lost dogs home who they might recommend. We all hope you and your pup can stay cool in Summer!
