We all know that dogs love food, and will do just about anything for a treat. We teach them to sit, roll over, stay and every other trick with food as the reward. At dinner time, you may notice that your pup will sit right next to you just waiting for some of your food to drop on the floor, or until you intentionally give them a bite of your meal. All this food can be unhealthy for your dog and can lead to weight gain. Below is a recipe for a very healthy treat that your dog will love, and will save you money.
Ingredients:
- 1 medium banana
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
